Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic called on European Commission spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic on Friday to disclose if any Serbian were involved in the alleged poisoning of ballots brought to Kosovo from Serbia, and she replied later in the day the EU was still waiting for the results of the analysis.
Ballots cast for the recent Kosovo parliamentary elections that were brought in from Serbia and sent to the Central Election Commission from a post office in Pristina are alleged to have caused allergic reactions among the vote counters. Kocijancic said on Monday that the European Union observer mission in Kosovo was carefully monitoring the situation.

“I am sure that after several days of careful monitoring of the “poisoning” affair in Pristina, you must now have a conclusion as to what exactly occurred. Therefore, I ask you to publicly explain to the entire European audience if there is any evidence whatsoever that any Serb poisoned the vote counters with anthrax, novichok or some more severe poison,” the Vucic wrote on the president’s official Twitter account.
Vucic asked Kocijancic to confirm who started the lie if the accusations of poisoning turn out not to be accurate, but she said the results were not available yet.
