The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) says it will issue silver numismatic coins with the image of Nikola Tesla, the famous scientist from the region, this year in continuation of the activities defined by the framework agreement on cooperation with Mish Intentional Monetary Inc., the FoNet news agency reported on Friday.
The deal signed in 2018, stipulates that the NBS will issue 210,000 silver coins designed as agreed per year, for as long as the contract is in effect.
The sale of Nikola Tesla silver coins will soon be organised at the NBS headquarters in Belgrade and its branch offices in the northern city of Novi Sad, the southern city of Nis, as well as in the central town of Kragujevac and western Uzice town.
