Leaders of the opposition Alliance for Serbia (SzS) had a working meeting with the European Parliament delegation before the start of Friday’s talks between the authorities and opposition on election conditions.
SzS leaders Dragan Djilas, Bosko Obradovic, Nebojsa Zelenovic, Marko Djuric met with the EP delegation and European Union delegation chief Sem Fabrizi at a working breakfast in Belgrade’s Hotel Metropol. No statements to the media were given after the meeting.
The SzS said earlier that it will not take part in the talks mediated by the EP delegation which started after 9:00 am. The mediators include former MEPS Eduard Kukan and Knut Fleckenstein as well as Chairwoman of the Serbia-EP Stabilization and Association Committee Tanja Fajon MEP and her successor as rapporteur for Serbia Vladimir Bilcik MEP.
