The North Macedonia government said on Tuesday that it would start negotiations with the Serbian government to open a new border crossing between the two countries.
A statement issued after a cabinet meeting in Skoplje said that the government had approved negotiations to reach an agreement with official Belgrade to open the Lojane-Miratovac border crossing.
The opening of the border crossing was discussed by senior officials of the two governments who said that its construction would be financed with a 2.5 million Euro donation from the government of Norway as part of a UNOPS project.
