Belgrade weekly NIN published its second issue with a blank front page following the fierce attacks from the ruling coalition over a photograph showing President Aleksandar Vucic standing in front of a rifle at an arms fair.

The previous issue was reprinted and the photograph removed from the front page amid claims of censorship. The cover story was about the arms deals with munitions from the Krusik plant which involved the father of Internal Affairs Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic.

The issue included an interview with the president’s media advisor.

This week’s issue had the same white front page and the headline Krusik Affair – What Dad Says.

NIN Editor in Chief Milan Culibrk said earlier that the weekly magazine would not have photographs on its front page in the next few weeks.
