The Chinese companies reconstructing the Serbian railway network have invited offers to build three power stations in the Belgrade area, the eKapija portal said on Thursday.

The China Communications Construction Company and China Railway International invited offers to build the transformer stations in the Zemun Polje and Batajnica suburbs of the Serbian capital and the nearby town of Nova Pazova.

The three transformer stations are along the Belgrade Center – Stara Pazova railway section.

The Chinese companies have been working on the reconstruction of the railway network, with focus on the section between Belgrade and the border with Hungary.
