Serbian school teams rank among top three at WER in Shanghai

The SDT team of high school students from Kragujevac came in second in the Brick (4+3) category while the Andrijasi elementary school team from Uzice came in third in the same category and got an Outstanding Contribution award.

The topic of this year’s WER was artificial intelligence with the teams tasked to use robots to solve problems in the functioning of AI.

Both teams qualified for WER through the Battle for Knowledge (Bitka za znanje) program organized by the B92 Fund. This was the third time that Serbian teams competed in Shanghai.
