The European Federation of Journalists (EFJ) said on Wednesday it joined the Independent Association of Serbia’s Journalists (NUNS) in supporting N1 TV.
The EFJ said they saw the state-owned cable operators' move as an attempt to shut down a critical view in Serbia.

A group of Belgraders announced earlier a protest in support of N1 and against “media darkness for Saturday.
So far, N1 has received support from many domestic and foreign individuals and organisations.
