Wednesday’s session of the Serbian Parliament was interrupted twice after MPs from the Serbian Radical Party (SRS) clashed with Construction and Infrastructure Minister Zorana Mihajlovic.

The session was first interrupted when SRS MP Vjerica Radeta clashed with Mihajlovic after a member of the minister’s entourage held up a paper saying Radical Lies. Radeta demanded the eviction of the minister’s associates. The clash began after Radeta addressed the minister saying: Shame on you, you thief!.

Radeta also criticized Mihajlovic, saying that things were far from ideal in the road construction projects that she supported and Mihajlovic responded saying that the SRS had been telling lies about her for days and years, claiming that she had taken 300 million Dollars in bribes and was a foreign spy.

A 10 minute break was ordered but the session could not continue because the ministry staff were still holding up their paper. SRS MP Milorad Mircic said that the minister is known for spending state funds on herself, adding that his party had prepared a gift for her. Mircic unpacked female underwear which another SRS MP handed to the minister.
