“He lost the elections (for mayor) twice in Belgrade. (Former Serbian President) Tomislav Nikolic won (the presidential elections as the Serbian Progressive Party – SNS candidate), Vucic won later at elections which were not fair. They were not free elections,” The Dveri leader said on Sunday night speaking live on the Impression of the Week (Utisak Nedelje) talk show.

Obradovic said that the people voting for Vucic and his Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) are scared. “They’re frightened. They don’t like Vucic, they’re afraid of him,” he said and added that Dveri and the Alliance for Serbia (SzS) are fighting to allow them to vote freely.

Speaking about the boycott of the coming elections, Obradovic said that success requires international support and the support of the public and the people in the system at home. He said the opposition also has to address SNS voters directly and explain that they have nothing to fear if they vote against the authorities.
