Kosovo’s Prime Minister Albin Kurti continues to insist on the political, economic and trade reciprocity with Belgrade which should replace the 100 percent import duties on goods from Serbia and Bosnia introduced last November, but excludes any dialogue on Kosovo’s territorial integrity, sovereignty, internal order, unitary character or the creation of the third level of authorities in the municipality with a Serb majority, the Beta news agency reported on Monday.

The US and the European Union have been demanding the lifting of the tariffs as the pre-condition for the resumption of the Belgrade – Pristina dialogue on the normalisation of relations that had been on hold for over a year.

The new Kosovo’s Government, a coalition between Kurti’s Self-Determination and the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), agreed that Prime Minister would lead the dialogue following his Constitutional rights and that the Parliament should pass a resolution on the talks with the two-third majority, Pristina’s Koha Ditore daily reporetd.
