Pristina daily Koha Ditore claimed on Wednesday that the White House meeting between the presidents of Serbia and Kosovo was organized to move the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue from Brussels to Washington.
The daily quoted an unnamed member of Kosovo President Hashim Thaci’s cabinet who said that the meeting was not agreed in advance and added that Thaci was told to urgently come to Washington from New York. The source said that the dialogue process needs new dynamics to guarantee a quick agreement.
The unnamed source told Koha Ditore that US special envoy Ambassador Richard Grenell made an offer worth billions of Euro if an agreement is reached quickly by Belgrade and Pristina.
