The Government of Serbia decided to halt the export of basic groceries and sanitizers, telling citizens that there is sufficient stock and that they do not need to stockpile the groceries at home.

Schools, kindergartens and universities remain open, and President Aleksandar Vucic said he was not sure if these institutions would be closed or if the authorities would introduce the state of emergency. According to media, Vucic said he would address a press conference at 8 pm and reveal if the state of emergency would be introduced.
