Nine employees of the Clinical Centre in the southern town of Nis have tested positive for the coronavirus, epidemiologist Branislav Tiodorovic said on Saturday.
The patients are seven doctors and two nurses, he said, stressing that there is no need to panic and that the situation is under control.
The employees were responsible and reported their condition timely, he added.
Nis has 28 confirmed COVID-19 cases by now and 10 have been hospitalised, with one of them hooked up on a respirator.
