The first truck carrying raw material from Serbia entered Kosovo on Saturday after Prishtina annulled its previous decision to impose taxes on import from Serbia, Kosovo's public broadcaster reported.
Kosovo Customs Spokesperson, Adriatik Staviljeci, told Radio Free Europe that the institution has started implementing the Kosovo Government decision to lift the 100 percent tax on raw material import from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday evening.
Staviljeci said that about 170 trucks that were in Serbia in transit, carrying goods from different countries, have entered over the past 24 hours.
The Kosovo Government decided to open six border crossings between Serbia and Kosovo as of March, 20.
