Serbia’s President, Aleksandar Vucic, announced on Saturday that he will propose the curfew Serbia introduced to prevent the coronavirus from spreading to last from 5 pm to 5 am, arguing that lack of discipline among citizens forced the Government to tighten measures.
Vucic said that Saturday was the worst day Serbia experienced since the coronavirus threat emerged as the country recorded 22 more cases.
The number of coronavirus cases across the country now stands at 171.
Vucic urged citizens to stay at home and warned that measures could be even stricter if those in place are not respected.
