Matic said that the two organisations had the opportunity to buy, import and deliver a 100 high-quality patient monitors to health institutions for overseeing life functions in a short time.

He said the monitors could be in Serbia in ten days.

The monitors top the list of needs during a pandemic, but they are also necessary for regular situations.

They are compatible with life-saving respirators and enable medical staff to have reliable data in making the best decisions possible.

To secure that urgent delivery, the organisations need 25 million Dinars (some 213,000 Euro) since the cost of one with VAT and ten percent discount is 305,000 Dinars (some 2,600 Euro)

"So far, a donor secured money for 14 monitors but wanted to remain anonymous. I call on all companies and individuals to help us raise the remaining 223, 300 Euro to secure a 100 patient monitors currently available in the market produced by the German Dräger company, which has business in Serbia," Matic said.
