The European Union’s top diplomat expressed satisfaction with the Kosovo government decision to revoke the 100 percent tariffs on imports from Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
“Happy to see the decision on the full lifting of tariffs by the Kosovo caretaker government for goods coming from Serbia and BiH,” High Representative Josep Borell wrote on his Twitter account, adding that the decision is important.

Borell wrote that regional cooperation is crucial, especially in times of crisis such as the coronavirus pandemic.
The High Representative’s words were echoed in a tweet by European Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi who wrote that the lifting of the tariffs is essential to resuming the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.
