National Public Healthcare Institute confirmed that three more persons in Kosovo tested positive for the novel coronavirus, bringing the total number to 135, according to local broadcaster RTK2.

The institute tested 138 samples, three of which turned out to be positive, according to the Institute. The patients have been hospitalised at the Infectious Diseases Clinics.

The new COVID-19 patients come from Severna Mitrovica.

Total of 1,743 suspected samples was tested since February 8.

16 patients fully recovered, while an 82-year-old person died as a consequence of the coronavirus infection.
