Hashim Thaci, the President of Kosovo, said on Wednesday he wrote to the outgoing Prime Minister Albin Kurti, the leader of the Self-Determination party, asking him to name a candidate for a new premier, RTK TV reported.
That was Thaci’s third attempt to get the name of the candidate. Still, Kurti hadn’t replied to the previous two requests to name his successor, saying that right now, his cabinet’s priority was the fight against coronavirus pandemic.
Kurti's Government was voted out on March 25.
