NIN weekly says fake cover page appears on social media

NIN weekly’s editors said that the fake picture was “another in a series of attempts to discredit the most influential weekly in the region and was obviously fabricated in the Progressives’ dirty propaganda machinery”, alluding to the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS).  

The fake cover page features a photograph of Djilas with the headline Best Actor in Serbia and a picture of Movement of Free Citizens (PSG) leader Sergej Trifunovic with the headline Crybaby is the role of Djilas’ life, I’m an amateur compared to him. Trifunovic is an actor turned politician. Djilas has come under fire from the authorities after posting a video on his Twitter account which showed him visibly upset describing how alleged supporters of President Aleksandar Vucic terrified his children.
