Ruling party MPs : Hunger strike not pressure on prosecutors

SNS MPs Aleksandar Martinovic and Sandra Bozic started their hunger strike on Sunday saying they would continue it until the prosecution reacts to the incident caused by Dveri leader Bosko Obradovic in front of parliament last week. Obradovic started his own hunger strike hours before the SNS in support of hunger-striking MP Miladin Sevarlic who is protesting state policies on Kosovo.  

Bozic told the pro-government TV Pink the hunger strike “is not pressure on the prosecution but a protest because it is not doing its job”. Martinovic added that, as far as he knows, the prosecution has not commented on their protest adding that he “sincerely hopes that the prosecution chiefs will do their job”. Martinovic also claimed that Obradovic, who he called a fascist, “entered the parliament building to eat” during the night. Obradovic denied that claim.
