UG donates complete medical equipment, ignored by Serbia's regime and its media

The medical equipment donated by the United Group (UG) to Serbia and the regional countries was completely delivered on Friday with the last contingent distributed to a warehouse in Serbia and made available to the Republic’s institutions, N1 reported.

SBB company paid in $570,000, donated 250,000 masks, as well as 8,800 sets of tests, 440 thermometers and 7,000 googles.

Besides a million Dollars donation, another 221,500 masks for medical staff worth $67,000 were secured, and 600 litres of alcohol was donated to the Clinical Centre in the central city of Kragujevac.

Despite being among the first companies which ordered and paid for the medical aid to Serbia on March 15, that humanitarian activity was hidden from people and ignored by the state officials and the media close to the regime, the UG said.
