The daily quoted spokesman Peter Stano as saying that the statements by EU High Representative Josep Borell and his envoy Miroslav Lajcak about a possible exchange of territories are in line with with that approach. It recalled that Borell said the possible land swap is something to be decided by the two sides while Lajcak voiced opposition to the idea.
“The statements by Borell and Lajcak are consistent and in line with our long-standing views and claims to the contrary are wrong. Borell has consistently defended his view that Serbia and Kosovo have to resolve all open issues without delay. This is a priority for the EU and should be a priority for them,” Koha Ditore quoted Stabo as saying.
The daily also quoted him as saying that the final agreement has to be in line with EU laws and values as well as international law.
