Nine more people died due to COVID-19 in North Macedonia in the past 24 hours and the number of deaths in total rose to 188, the Health Minister Venko Filipce said.
The minister posted on Facebook that eight COVID-19 patients died since Saturday and that another one died on June 11, but that an autopsy has meanwhile shown she had the coronavirus.
He also stated that 162 new coronavirus cases were confirmed in the country and that a total of 4,057 people have tested positive for the virus in total so far.
There are currently 2,159 active cases in North Macedonia, 278 patients are hospitalised and ten of them are on ventilators.
