The central election commission (RIK) said that 18.01 percent of the electorate voted by noon at the Serbian parliamentary and local elections on Sunday.
RIK chief Miladin Kovacevic said that the figure was based on a sample turnout at 362 polling stations and added that no great irregularities had been reported.
The CRTA election watchdog said that 22.9 percent of voters turned out by 1:00 pm which, it said, is 2.2 percent less than at the 2016 parliamentary elections. CRTA observers are present at 500 polling stations.
CRTA said that irregularities were reported by its observers at four polling stations such as the presence of unauthorized persons at polling stations and violations of privacy of voters.
