Marinika Tepic, a deputy leader of the opposition Party of Freedom and Justice (SSP) and Vladimir Todoric, a lawyer, said on Tuesday they filed criminal charges against a group of Serbia's politicians and doctors, accusing them of 'causing general danger and imperilling people's health and lives' during the coronavirus epidemic, N1 reported.
Tepic, the most outspoken opposition politician, told reporters that Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar, and members of the anti-epidemic Crisis Team Zoran Gojkovic, Darija Kisic Tepavcevic, Branimir Nestorovic and Predrag Kon, had deceived the public since March when they 'consciously timed the outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic' because of the elections held on June 21 in Serbia.
Tepic referred to the Crisis Team as "the private team of (President) Aleksandar Vucic and his 'clique,' created to make 'this horrible scam,' adding there was evidence that the Crisis Team's members consciously manipulated the public with information about the health situation during the epidemic.
