UNICEF secured 50 ventilators for the Serbian health care system at the start of the crisis, UNICEF Serbia official Vesna Savic Djukic was quoted as saying by the Beta agency. She added that the ventilators delivered to the Clinical Center of Serbia are state of the art equipment fully compatible with the country’s health care system.
UNICEF has donated large amounts of protective equipment with the help of donors since the coronavirus pandemic broke out as well as thousands of aid packages to local families and care institutions and migrant centers.
