EU to help employment of 100 doctors, nurses and other medical staff
The EU Info center in Belgrade said on Thursday that the European Union will provide the financing to employ 100 health care staff over the next six months.
The financing will be provided to employ doctors, nurses and other medical and administrative staff in public health and primary health care facilities, COVID clinics and key laboratories. They will be employed to the end of 2020 in support of existing medical staff.
EU Delegation chief Sem Fabrizi said that this is an expression of strong support to Serbia. The EU has significantly helped Serbia in the COVID-19 crisis and in the past providing support for the health sector, a press release quoted him as saying.
