Serbian chief of staff discusses cooperation with NATO liaison chief

The Serbian military’s top commander General Milan Mojsilovic discussed the possible upgrading of cooperation with NATO with Brigadier General Tommaso Vitale, Chief of NATO Military Liaison Belgrade, the Defense Ministry said in a press release on Friday.

It said thatMojsilovic and Vitale also discussed how the Serbian military was tackling the coronavirus pandemic.

The press release quoted the chief of staff as saying that the Serbian military is committed to continuing cooperation with the Alliance in all areas of common interest within Partnership for Peace and joint activities with KFOR. Mojsilovic added that “professional cooperation based on mutual respect and trust which is of key importance to overall stability and security” had been established with KFOR as the only legitimate armed formation in Kosovo.

The ministry press release did not quote General Vitale.
