Opposition leader to Vucic: You're to blame for every recent coronavirus case

In an open letter addressed to Serbia’s President, the leader of the Party of Freedom and Justice (SPP), Dragan Djilas, said that President Aleksandar Vucic is to blame for every person who was infected with the coronavirus in the past two months because he downplayed the threat in order to organise a “fake and meaningless” election.

Djilas wrote that Vucic is was guilty because he "deliberately created an atmosphere (implying) that there is no coronavirus only to organise illegitimate, false and meaningless elections" and that he was the only one in Europe to allow football matches attended by an audience.
"An urgent government of experts must be formed, which will not be made up of politicians but of people behind whom we will all stand, regardless of political affiliation. A government of salvation, a government that will, with support from the people, begin solving health, economic and all other problems we face as a society,” Djilas wrote.
Such a government should primarily “stop the further decline of the state” and then “build up institutions which were destroyed” and after these basic issues are resolved, this will enable “fair elections,” he wrote.
“This is the only way for us to survive as a state and as a people,” he added.
