Aleksandra Tanaskovic, a woman from Serbia who took part in the anti-Belgrade regime demonstrations held in Oslo in support of their compatriots in Serbia said the Norwegians knew very little about the situation in her native country, N1 reported.

She said the protest in Oslo also aimed at animating Norwegian media to pay more attention to Serbia and events there.

"The Norwegian media were poorly informed about our protest (on Saturday), and didn't publish anything about it," Tanaskovic told N1.

She said Serbia's nationals formed a Facebook group "In support of protests in Serbia," gathering 500 people so far.

Tanaskovic added that some Serbs would return home if the country would be corruption free.

However, she said, "back home, one man decides about everything, there is a one-party (political) system," Tanaskovic said.
