Epidemiologist Predrag Kon described Serbia’s capital on Saturday as an “epidemiological bomb” because it has a huge number of places where the coronavirus can easily be transmitted.

Kon said that Serbia is currently experiencing a “high level” of the epidemic, telling the public broadcaster, RTS, that “we are walking on the edge” and that this is especially true for Belgrade.

„The essence is that the virus is among the people, that it is relatively freely transmitted, and that it is very important to understand this moment, because now we no longer have a curfew that was resolving our situation and everything that is prescribed must be respected,“ Kon said.
