Five students of Belgrade Mathematics Gimnasium won two golden, one silver and two bronze medals at the fourth European Physic Olympiad (EuPhO) held online due to the coronavirus pandemic.

They competed with 250 students from 57 European and guest countries from July 20-26.

Two of the Belgrade students who won gold medals were the best in the absolute ranking of the participants from the European countries, and Serbia’s team was among the best European competitors.

The students took tests at the Belgrade Physic Institute under all anti-pandemic measures.

At the same time, experts from the participants’ countries and the Olympic Committee representatives supervised the regularity of the competition via video link.
