Road toll income drops, Serbian traffic minister says

“There were 5.4 million vehicles less on the roads up to August 3 than last year but … international traffic continued and the toll for trucks is six times higher than for passenger vehicles,” a ministry press release quoted her as saying during a visit to the Road Toll Sector and the Putevi Srbije roads company.  

According to the minister, investments in highways remains a priority. She said that more than 200 kilometers of highway was under construction and would be part of the road toll system within the next few years.
