The Nisville Jazz Festival opened on Thursday as an online event instead of the traditional concerts on the stage in the fortress in the southern Serbian city of Nis.
Nisville 2020 ONLINE will feature concerts and other events streamed live at http://nisville.com/live-stream/.
Organizers presented the program of the festival at a news conference and the Nisville Jazzcycle – a pedal wheeled vehicle for seven musicians playing jazz standards. The festival was opened to the sounds of Herbie Hancock’s Watermelon Man with a watermelon sliced in half by the festival director.
