"Without the opposition in the parliament... he (Vucic) resembles (Belarus President Alexander) Lukashenko and similar dictators," Raskovic Ivic told the Belgrade independent Danas daily.
She added that Vucic announced the possibility of fresh elections in 18 months "to reduce the pressure from abroad, but at home as well."
Earlier, Vucic said he was considering two options – a coalition government with one party, or the national unity cabinet, adding he was closer to the first idea. He did not specify which out of two other parties, that crossed the reduced three percent threshold in June 21 elections, he might form a coalition with.
However, Raskovic Ivic predicted that Vucic would call early general vote together with the presidential and Belgrade elections due in 2022, "to undisturbedly and wickedly, as an apparent President of all citizens, leads (his Serbian Progressive Party) SNS and raises a synergy.
