Kragujevac has become the 6th GIGA City in Serbia and part of the new generation network in the region, the SBB company said on Friday.

SBB clients in the city will now be able to enjoy digital TV on up to three devices at no extra cost along with a number of HD resolution channels, high quality video and audio and Internet access at speeds up to 1 Gbps.

SBB said that it is continuing to spread its GIGA network by digitalizing every town and city where its services are available providing users with top quality innovative entertainment, news and communication services.

The SBB cable services provider has upgraded access speeds in six Serbia cities as part of its five year plan worth 300 million Euro with 80 percent of Serbian clients having access to those services by the end of the year.

The press release said that the Internet access speeds upgrade automatically with EON Light going from 75 to 150 mbps, EON Full from 150 to 250 and EON Premium from 300 to 500 which means that EON Full package users will get six times the speed than the average in Serbia which stands at 39.2/11 Mbps according to data from the testmy.net portal for July 2020. Premium users in digitalized cities get up to 1 gigabit a second with GIGA access.

SBB is part of the United Group along with N1 TV.
