Serbian Minister injures man in traffic accident

Knezevic hit the 75 year old man with his Skoda car on a zebra crossing in his home town of Zrenjanin. The man was taken to hospital and the traffic police were called to the crossroads where the accident happened.

The Ministry of the Economy said in a press release that the minister hit a pedestrian with one of the rear view mirrors on his car, causing light injuries. It said that Knezevic went to see the man to express regret over the accident and hope that the man will recover.

The traffic police found that the lights at the crossroads were not working, that Knezevic had not been drinking and impounded his car to be checked by mechanics.
