Serbian minister says negotiations to complete Belgrade ring road over soon

The minister met with Power China CEO Yang Bo and the head of the Azeri Azvirty company Amhet Murat Turkoglu to discuss the construction of the ring road section between Bubanj Potok and Pancevo, a press release said.  

Mihajlovic told the meeting that the plan was to start construction of the final section right after the second section is completed. “The completion of the ring road means that freght traffic will move out of the center of the city, traffic safety will improve and there will be further economic growth because new industrial zones will develop in the ring road zone. I expect negotiations on technical solutions and the value of the project to be completed soon and a commercial contract signed,” she is quoted as saying.  

The two CEOs are quoted as expressing readiness to build the final section of the ring road after completing price negotiations.
