Large numbers of Serbian tourists headed home from Montenegro on Friday, hurrying to cross the border before 6:00 pm when stricter pandemic measures take effect.
The government pandemic Crisis Staff introduced new measures for travelers entering the country which include reporting to doctors, filling out online self-diagnose questionnaires and keeping children home from school for 10 days after entering the country.
The Nova.rs portal reported large crowds at border crossings between Montenegro and Serbia because most tourists waited for the last minute to return home. People entering the country are being handed a note warning them that they have to report to their local COVID center within 24 hours.
