Zezelj, who also owns the pro-authorities tabloid Kurir, called for the dismissal from the council of Jelisaveta Vasilic who has analyzed and criticized the contract between Wireless Media and the state-owned Telekom Serbia, claiming a conflict of interest. That contract, which has also been the focus of criticism by the opposition, will be discussed and analyzed by the Council which is requesting access to the contract and pertinent documents. Opposition official Marinika Tepic and her Party of Freedom and Justice called the Council to look into the contract which Tepic says shows that Telekom paid Zezelj’s company millions of Euro to buy the Adria Media company which owns Kurir.
In his letter to the Council, which he published on his web site, Zezelj said that the contract between Wireless Media and Telekom is a business secret saying that he finds it “incomprehensible and unacceptable” that, all the time that a media lynch against him and his companies by Council members among others that body never called him or anyone else involved to ask for information or documents.
Zezelj warned the Council members “not to expose themselves to material and non-material liability for consciously damaging reputations and inflicting harm” on himself and his companies or any other market player, including Telekom Serbia.
