According to Kosovo's National Public Health Institute, 1,049 samples were tested for the presence of the virus, 186 turned out positive, RTK2 reported on Sunday, adding that two people had died over the past 24 hours.

The Institute added that 54 patients had recovered from the disease and that the total number of patients who recovered now stands at 15,088.

Kosovo currently has 2,192 active cases, and 663 persons had died since the outbreak of the pandemic.
