North Macedonia minister hospitalized

Two members of the North Macedonia government have been hospitalized after testing positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

The country’s Health Minister Venko Filipce confirmed on Thursday that Internal Affairs Minister Oliver Spasovski and the government’s General Secretary Dragi Raskovski had been hospitalized in the Skoplje Infectious Diseases Clinic.  

Spasovski confirmed on Monday that he had tested positive and Filipce told reporters before a meeting of the President’s Council for Security that the minister’s health was stable but that he was running a fever.
