Over the last 24 hours, five patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 2,748 people tested, 934 were confirmed infected with the coronavirus, the Health Ministry said on Friday.
The death toll stood at 982, while 30,488 people have been infected out of 246,105 tested since the epidemic’s outbreak, and 20,448 patients have recovered.
On Friday, there were 9,058 active cases in the country.
