The senior Serbian Orthodox Church cleric in Montenegro, Bishop Amfilohije Radovic, was an important and great person for Montenegro and the Serb people, Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic, told TV Vijesti on Sunday.
Bishop Amfilohije died early on Friday at the age of 82 due to COVID-19 and is to be put to rest on Sunday.

Vucic told reporters that it was his duty to but that it was his duty to attend the funeral and that he came to Podgorica to pay his respects and fulfil his obligations which shows the closeness of Serbia and Montenegro and the unity of the Serb people.
He said he has not been on an official visit to the country so far and that he does not want to interfere with the process of forming the new Montenegrin government.
