Serbian government pandemic Crisis Staff epidemiologist Predrag Kon called people in the Serbian capital to act as if they are under lockdown for the next week, warning that the pandemic will peak in that period.

Kon said in a Facebook post that Belgrade residents should behave as if an overnight curfew is in place and avoid any crowds and gatherings.

The post titled Special Request for Belgraders warned that the pandemic will reach a maximum in the next week. „Avoid all crowds and gatherings in that period. Act as if a ban on movement is in place between 7:00 pm and 5:00 am. If you have to leave your home… wear a mask at all times, especially indoors,“ the doctor said.
