He told the pro-government Happy TV he had received a letter by the Euro parliamentarians Tanja Fajon and Vladimír Bilčík, but that the vast Parliament's agenda and the fact the European Parliament (EP) did not work, a video call was agreed on.
Dacic said it was needed to see how the dialogue would be organised, what topics would be on the agenda…
He added it was different this time since some parties did not have deputies in the Parliament.
Fajon said in September the renewal of the dialogue between political parties in the country would secure a room for improvement in the functioning of democracy, human rights and media freedom.
Last December, ahead of the previous ballot in Serbiaheld in June, the EP delegation mediated the talks on the elections' conditions between the ruling and opposition parties.
Leading opposition politicians boycotted both the negotiations and the following elections.
One of the opposition leaders told the MEPs on xxx not to come if they would "support this regime again."
