In the last 24 hours, Slovenia has conducted 6,813 coronavirus tests and 2,013 of them, that is 29.55%, have returned positive, the Slovenian government reported on Wednesday.
In the said period, 43 Covid patients have died from the complications.
Currently, Slovenian hospitals are treating 1,280 Covid patients, five more than on Tuesday. Of those hospitalised patients, 209 are in intensive care wards, the government's spokesman Jelko Kacin said.
Since the outbreak of the disease, 58,945 people have caught the novel virus, and the Covid-related death toll stands at 911.
