
Officials from three opposition parties met with managers at the Serbian state TV (RTS), the Nova Stranka said in a press release on Wednesday.
It said that the meeting agreed that the political situation in Serbia with no opposition MPs demands a different approach to reporting. According to the press release, the opposition officials told the RTS management that they have to conduct themselves with professional ethics and respect for the law, primarily the law on public broadcasters.
The press release said that the meeting was attended by outgoing RTS CEO Dragan Bujosevic, News Program chief Nenad Lj. Stefanovic and portal editor Zoran Stanojevic while the opposition officials included Nova Stranka leader Aris Movsesijan, Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) leader Milos Jovanovic and Social democrat Party General Secretary Konstantin Samofalov.
